"Drill Brazil Drill!"

While President Obama has left United States oil and jobs in the depths of the abyss,  our nomad or globe trotting  president assures a South American neighbor he will help develop its offshore resources so one day we can import its oil. WHAT! With Japan devestated by a mega natural disaster and a nuclear crisis, cruise missiles launched against Libya in our third Middle East war (humanitartian venture) and the majority of U.S. senators complaining about a lack of leadership on the budget, President Obama decided it would be a good time to Two-STEP with the Brazilians. With a seven-year offshore drilling ban off of both of our coastlines, on Alaska's continental shelf and in much of the Gulf of Mexico and a drilling moratorium covering the rest, Obama tells the Brazilians, "We want to help you with the technology and support to develop these oil reserves safely. And when you're ready to start selling, we want to be one of your best customers" and promptly dumps 2 billion dollars in the Brazilians pockets....Why does Obama want to develop Brazilian offshore oil jobs for Brazilian workers while leaving Americans unemployed in the face of astronomical and continuing higher energy prices by an administration that despises fossil fuels as a threat to the environment and wants to increase our dependency on foreign oil, this makes no sense what so ever. As I have said before Obama is not a friend to the United States of America; in an op-ed to the USA today Obama tried to explain his Brazilian trip: "Brazil holds recently discovered oil reserves that could be far larger than ours. And as we seek to increase secure energy supplies, we look forward to developing a strategic energy partnership."

What is Obama implying?  That by developing Brazil's oil reserve, we decrease our dependency of oil from the middle east?  No, he is trying to have another source in case the we lose oil reserves in the middle east. Which should be a clue to develope additional reserves at home. We have enough oil to to feed ourselves for hundred of years if this twit would just wake up. Howevwer, I forgot that Obama is bought and paid for by special interst groups...for one the S.E.I.U. to the tune of about $60 millions dollars, probably more, in addition to the countless other unions that will ultimately define Obama's Presidency. Obama calls this a working vacation, it shows you how arrorgant and smug this man has become, ultimately the tax payer will pay for his family's vacation. No doubt.

Obama will be exposed at some point for who he really is and for what he really stands for, hopefully it will be sooner than later.
