"As you listen to the news about the student protests over illegal immigration, there are some things that you should be aware of: let's look at California for a second. California high schools are designated as Title 1 schools, meaning that it' students average lower socioeconomic And income levels Some of California title 1 schools are protesting. Title 1 schools are on the free breakfast and free lunch program. When I say free breakfast, It's just not a glass of milk and roll, but a full breakfast and cereal bar with fruits and juices that would make some hotels proud. The waste of this food is earth shattering, with trays and trays of food being dumped in the trash completely uneaten. I am guessing well over 30% to 40% of these high school students are overweight. The kicker is, most of these kids have cell phones, but no money for food. These schools also provide day care centers for the unwed teenage pregnant girls. Just so they can attend class without inconveniencing anyone, or having a family member baby sit. I wonder who pays for this little perk.....the people of United States do with their hard earned tax-dollar. Please don't think for a moment that I do not support assisting the needy, I do support the needy and the elderly, the United States needy and elderly, not illegal immigrants, whose parents do not pay taxes. Some of the illegals make use and take advantage of the full benefits that are offered. Free medical, free education, free food and day care. Is it any wonder these students feel entitled not only to be in this country but to demand rights, privileges and other entitlements which I have not listed? Their will be those who want to make an argument that illegal immigrants contribute to our society by paying taxes and working other jobs Americans will not work, yes so do pay taxes and work some jobs Americans do not work, but very very few. However it is not enough to offset the higher insurance, medical facilities closing, higher medical costs, more crime, lower standards of education in our schools, and the overcrowding caused by illegal immigration along the border(s). As a country we need to wake up and smell the roses. The guest is good in concept, however the program will not work because the rules won't be enforced. Does anyone in their right mind really think they will voluntarily leave and return? It does, however, have everything to do with culture: A third-world culture that does not value education, that accepts children getting pregnant and dropping out of school by 15 and that refuses to learn and an American culture that has become so weak and worried about " political correctness " that we don't have the will to do anything about it. The Obama administration, as those administrations of the past thrown money into these TITLE 1 programs with little or no oversight as to how much money and food is being wasted. The free this, the free that, it translates into one thing, regardless of party affiliation, VOTES!! This is what matters most of all to a politician, not anything else. An example, if an illegal alien with a wife and 5 children a job for $6.00 an hour. At that wage, with six dependents, he pays no income tax, yet at the end of the year, (IF) he files an Income tax return, he will get an "earned income credit" of up to $3,200.
He will then qualify for Section 8 housing and subsidized rent . He then may qualify for food stamps. His children get free breakfasts and lunches at school. He qualifies for relief from high energy bills as well. If they are or become, aged, blind or disabled , they qualify for SSI. Once qualified for SSI they can qualify for Medicare. All of this is at our expense., the United States taxpayer.
Just for a moment, look back at where we are today. We are running a $14 TRILLION dollar deficit, roughly $46,000 per American household is owed. China has now become our landlord. We are in wars on three fronts, Iraq, Afghanistan and most recently, Libya. Gasoline is closing in to $4 a gallon. Obama just gave Brazil 2 billion dollars to explore drilling off the Brazilian coast, creating jobs in Brazil, not America. This topic was just discussed again this past Friday, and is open for debate again, a new mileage TAX. If passed and signed into law, our mileage would be tracked and taxed based on how many miles we drive.
It is time that We The People , stand up and say ENOUGH. I want my son and his family, my grandchildren my friends to have some sort of future, with what ever time we have left. I do not want them to have a third world country or third world conditions to live in.
Until next time, God Bless You and God Bless America.

Thank you, "My Hero" for your awesome articulation of everything I feel. You have no idea how disturbing it is for me to watch what is happening in America. I live in a Minority Majority State, in my town alone, the Hispanic population rose 71% since our last census. They have taken over the schools, day cares, stores, restaurants & every other business imaginable. They do not speak the same language as I & prefer to communicate among themselves thereby making everyone not of Hispanic origin feel excluded. It is one of the most negative experiences that I have felt in this life. I only wish that I had a group of like minded people who truly understands the atrocities that are being allowed to happen. Thanks for being here. AlwaysAmerica
Thank you for your comment, it is important that we a society take charge, it has to be the American people, as our elected officials have proven time and time again, that they only care for themselves. Our time is limited.
