The TSA - The Dummies in the Blue Shirt!

I will be the first to tell you, "I understand the need for airline security, in this day and age, it just has to be. Now here comes what I feel is the negative. First, TSA agents are not trained law enforcement officers or agents, they do not have arrest powers. They do not receive any high level training, the training and experience which is needed to locate and identify a terrorist. The TSA is way off base, I have said this before and I will say this again, we need retired military and law enforcement personnel who have had the training in profiling PEOPLE, not races. You have to have a knowledge of who is a TERRORIST. Take lessons from Israel. Here is how Israel does it....The first layer of actual security that greets travellers at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion International Airport is a roadside check. All drivers are stopped and asked just two questions: 1. How are you? 2. Where are you coming from?   The questions aren’t important. It is how people act and respond when they answer them is.  Officers are looking for patterns of nervous behavior or other signs of “distress” — behavioral profiling, not racial profiling that people get upset about.  I will argue the point that behavioral profiling is discriminatory, it is not at all…Once you’ve parked your car or gotten off your bus, you pass through the second and third security perimeters. Armed guards outside the terminal are trained to observe passengers as they move toward the doors, again looking for odd behavior. At Israel's Ben Gurion airport's half-dozen entrances, another layer of security are at work watching. At this point, some travellers will be randomly taken aside, and their person and their luggage run through a magnometer.    Once you are in the in the terminal, as you approach your airline check-in desk, a trained interviewer takes your passport and ticket. You will be asked a series of simple questions: Who packed your luggage? Has it left your side? These questions are commonly asked here in the U.S. as well. During this process, the interviewers are looking into your eyes .... which might be embarrassing for some, but this is one of the ways they figure out if you are suspicious or not. This only takes a few seconds at the most. The next thing  while you are at the check-in desk, your luggage will be scanned immediately in a purpose-built area. Why? What if you have escaped the attention of the first four layers of security, and now try to pass a bag with a bomb in it? …you get busted at the counter.  That makes so far 5 layers of security you must pass through to board the plane, BUT.....there is one more,   “First, it’s fast — there’s almost no line. That’s because they’re not looking for any liquids, they’re not looking at your shoes they are not looking in your underwear and certainly not searching 6 year old little girls.  They’re not looking for everything that TSA looks for in  America. They just look at you,  even today with all the heightened security we have in America, TSA will check your items to death. however, they will never ever look you in the eyes, or how you behave. Looking into someones eyes will help you figure out who the bad guy is. But TSA will never look you in the eyes. They want to grope you and get into your JUNK and search little kids. This goes to show you how off base TSA is in airport security.  My friends that’s the complete security process......  six layers of security, four hard, two soft. The maxium time from the parking lot to the gate, is approximately 30 minutes, more or less. TSA takes about 2 hours, more or less. Israel takes a realistic look at airport security......America takes a political correct approach in the sense "PROFILING" is wrong; and it is the complete opposite. We have spent billions on Airport Security, but overlooked the obvious, we need to reform our National Airport Security Measures remove the current TSA Director John Pistol and replace him with a retired military General or Colonel to direct this effort.

In closing, there are so many things that we the people have to do to regain control of our precious Country, which has been soiled by greedy corrupt politicians. We need to take a serious look at our congress and replace them with responsible every day plain people who have no interest other than fixing America. people like Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and all the self serving corrupt representatives must go, they have ruined the most powerful country in the world. It is time we take our country back.

Until Next Time....May God Bless You and May God Bless America............
