God and Graduation.....Guess Who Loses...??

The Graduating Seniors from Medina Valley will have a senior year to remember, but for all the wrong reasons. The American United for Separation of Church and State filed a lawsuit Thursday on behalf of Christa and Danny Schultz against the Medina Valley Independent School District in Castroville,Texas, alleging that it is illegal to include prayer during the upcoming graduation ceremony on June 4. Talk about a crock of crap. This issue is absurd to say the least. If people like Christa and Danny Schultz and their non believing child have a problem with prayer, get the hell out, leave,  have you child graduate at some burger joint alone. You are trampling on the rights of the majority. If you do not believe in God, that is your right do to so, but to ruin the event for all of the people that do believe in God, is just plain WRONG. The best solution is for you to leave the building. As a standard of practice, if you do not like the movie, you leave, you do not make the majority to leave. This is insane. Go stick your head in the sand until the ceremony is over.
I encourage each and every student to stand in unison and pray, regardless, it is your right as a person to do so, the school is not taking a stance one way or the other, so stand up for God and pray, and pray loudly, if I could be there I would for you. I also would find an attorney and file a counter suit. That to is your right, you are the majority. This is what is wrong with our country, everyone is trying to remove God from our daily lives, the sad part nobody is standing up against these people. We will continue to lose until somebody gets up and has the guts to do something. It is unbelievable to me, that just one person can bring so much misery to an event.

Until next time...Congratulations to the Students of Median Valley on your Graduation, do not let the ill feelings of one, sway you in your beliefs, Just PRAY ANYWAY! The heck with them.

What they are doing at Medina Valley high school is UNCONSTITUTIONAL. The invocation and benediction parts of the graduation ceremony are sanctioned by our government and they are not allowed to push religious practices on non-believers as is stated in the 1st amendment. You might want to take a look again at America's constitution before you preach patriotism. What the Schultz family did is patriotic in every sense of the word.

Mr. Anonymous, yes it is illegal for THE SCHOOL, to push religion off at school, however, the last I looked it is NOT illegal for a student(s)to be able to pray ON THEIR OWN, without the school getting involved. However, to me, God needs to be in the schools, if you don't believe, fine, don't pray, bottom line. Get it!
