Hamas Condemns Bin Ladens Killing.....Whats New?

Ismail Haniyeh - Hamas Prime Minister
Condemns UBL Slaying
Almost 10 years after 9/11 – the most deadly terror attack ever perpetrated on American soil – the head of the organization responsible for the death and devastation is no longer. Despite the late hour at which the announcement was made by President Barack Obama Sunday, thousands of extremely Happy Americans flooded Times Square in New York City and gathered in front of the White House in Washington DC, chanting “U-S-A,- U. S. A. ” until early morning hours.  However, not everyone is happy that Usama Bin Laden has passed on to the bottom of the Arabian Sea. "Gaza government condemns U.S. slaying of ‘Arab holy warrior’, ask ‘God to offer him mercy with true believers, martyrs.  Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh holds a news conference in Gaza City to denounce the U.S. killing of Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. (Ismail Zaydah / Reuters / May 2, 2011)     "Ismail Haniyeh, prime minister of the Hamas government in the Gaza Strip, on Monday denounced the U.S. killing of Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden in Pakistan.

Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood, a conservative organization with links around the Islamic world, has condemned the killing of al-Qaida leader Usama bin Laden by U.S. forces as an "assassination."

This is another organization which hates our way of life and if given an opportunity, will attempt to do something about it. The Muslim Brotherhood, seeks the establishment of a state run government according to Islamic principles through peaceful means, is Egypt's most powerful and organized political movement. According to Muslim Brotherhood they are against violence in general, against assassinations and in favor of fair trials. I doubt it. In short, just because Bin Laden was killed does not mean we win, it means we have a never ending job ahead of us. The biggest fight of all is ahead of us, our Economy, so please do not be fooled into thinking Obama has won the war and we are fine, because we are not, Obama won a battle, with the help of George W. Bush.  He still has the economy to deal with and job loss. It is wait and see.

This attitude is going to be what faces the United States in the coming days, weeks, months and years. Every organization associated with terrorism will be "DOWN WITH AMERICA" and denounce everything we stand for. They will denounce the very freedom that you see people in Yemen, Libya, Egypt, Tunisia and other areas in the middle east fighting for as we speak.  They want what we have, freedom. The oppressors are losing control and they know it, freedom will prevail, slowly, but freedom will win out. We are not a perfect nation by any means, but we have the best to offer from any other country. We offer freedom of speech, freedom of religion freedom of the press, we have it all, and people know it and die daily to make it to our country for those freedoms.  We are criticized  for our way of life, however, they flock to this country by the millions so they can share in our freedoms, so many we can't keep up with who belongs and who does not. That is the scary part. For the few that do hate us, they are here among us now, plotting another attack. We have to save our country first, if we want to survive as a nation. The President will get a bounce in the polls for killing Bin Laden, now fix the economy and see what happens.

We still have a long road to hold.

Until next time.....

God Bless You and God bless America,,,,,,,,,

When I heard of his death I was in a quandry with my feelings about it. Of course, it is comforting news that such a bad seed is now gone. The death & destruction he caused in America on Sept 11 2001 changed America & our world forever. What he & his followers did was an act of pure evil against innocent people. Sadly though the news of his death also fills me with fear of what may lay ahead, it's frightening! We all know that he did not act alone... Al Quaeda still exist & revenge will most likely be on the cards. The knowledge of this makes it hard to truly celebrate.

Thanks for stopping by Kathrine, I agree, I hope it had not opened pandora's box. However it is a good thing that he is gone. There is no doubt they will try and hit us again at some point.

Let's just pray that we stop them before hand.

I hope all is well Down Under, we are getting ready for our hurricane season which starts June 1st.

Take care and talk to you soon.
